The Glittering Court Review: A young heiress escapes Osfrid, a country full of palaces, to live as Adelaide, a poor girl in a new country Adoria who must live in a house with other girls where they are transformed from poor unfortunate servant girls to upper class ladies who marry rich men in Adoria, although it is not that bad of a fate, if you don't complete your yearlong stay at the Glittering Court and marry there are some big consequences to pay.... Adelaide keeps her secret very well until Cedric, the son of the owner of the court, finds out. But soon enough she finds out he's keeping his own huge dark secret too... Along her way she meets two other girls, Tamsin and Mira, who are also in their own dark situations and eventually the trio become friends. This book is an AMAZING and interesting concept. Although I adore this book I will say it is a historical fiction book trying to pass as a fantasy. I love the protagonist and how she is strong-willed and so independent. She is a jewel that cannot be contained. -Diana Bitzaya
